What Can You Do with a Communication Sciences and Disorders Minor?
The minor in communication sciences and disorders provides the preparatory coursework for entry to the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï master's program in Speech-Language Pathology through the Pacific Priority program. Requirements for successful admission through Pacific Priority include a last 60 credits of GPA at 3.25 (at time of admission) and successful completion of an admissions interview.
A minor in communication sciences and disorders prepares you for a career in speech-language pathology or audiology, by preparing you for graduate work in the field. The coursework in the minor could also be relevant for careers in education, medicine, dentistry, and allied health, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, physician assistant/associate, music therapy, and psychology.
