International Programs is hosting Go Global on Thursday September 25 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the UC Patio at the Forest Grove campus. The event will include tables for undergraduate travel courses and study abroad, graduate travel programs, Global Scholars, study abroad provider organizations, scholarships, and international work opportunities. We're starting to plan the annual Boxer Winter Holiday Social, and we need your help to make this year's event the best one yet. This is a great opportunity to help organize a fun, multi-campus event for all our staff and faculty to connect and celebrate the season (and the end of the Fall Semester).

The Faculty Excellence Committee invites you to attend one or more listening sessions. There will be a session held on each campus and on Zoom. These listening sessions will give you an opportunity to share thoughts on your faculty experience across all domains of the faculty role (teaching, scholarship, service) at all stages of the faculty journey.

Join the staff-only Graduate and Professional Division Committee listening session on Sept. 22, 12:15–1:15 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required. Share your feedback on the proposed division models.

National Hazing Prevention Week: September 22–26

Next week, September 22–26, is National Hazing Prevention Week. It is an important week for our campus community to come together to learn, reflect, and take action to prevent hazing in all forms. Show your support by picking up a Hazing Prevention sticker or button on Tuesday, September 23, at the UC table.

New and Returning Pacific Students: Experience the Forest Grove Farmers Market, Wednesday Sept 17! Washington County is hosting their Expo there, with 25+ tables offering health education, community resources, job opportunities, baby goats, and more. They're inviting Pacific students to "stop by to win prizes and enjoy games and giveaways!"

Pacific Students, do you have a credential, certificate or other previous documented experience that you'd like to earn credit for? Pacific has a credit for prior experiential learning process, that allows you to document and apply your previous experience to your degree.

Human Resources will be hosting I-9 training for supervisors in person on September 29 10am-11am on the Forest Grove Campus in the Tran Library (Conference Room 201).
